Zeus Termiticide and Insecticide *Bifenthrin*

Bifenthrin, the active ingredient used in Zeus is a pyrethroid insecticide.  It is widely used against insect infestations, including invasive ant species by interfering with its nervous system when they eat or touch it. It’s more toxic to insects than it is to people because insects have lower body temperatures and smaller body sizes.

Bifenthrin has high toxicity to aquatic organisms.

Bifenthrin often remains in the soil and has a residual half-life in soil is between 7 days and 8 months, depending on the soil type.

• Application and Usage

  The product must be diluted with water before use, and application rates vary according to target pests:

  • General pest spray: 25–50 mL per 10 L water
  • Ants: 50 mL per 10 L water
  • Termite barrier spray: 100 mL per 10 L water
  • Lawn grubs: 12 mL per 10 L water over 100 m²
  • Black beetle: 60 mL per 10 L water over 100 m²
